Wayfaring Stranger

Best Version? What a Voice..

Finishing off this Year with some more Trivia...

'White Widow' is a strain of Cannabis Sativa[ Maude is Jeff's Mother on an 'Unconscious' level
ie;Oedipus Complex]also called 'Cheese'- hence the 'CheeseBurger'?..at the 'In and Out' Place?

'Gorzec' is Polish for 'to Burn' or ' Brand' and is reputedly the Origin of the Term 'Vodka' which
various Countries claim to be the originators of..

James Bond never drank Vodka Martini in all the Books by Fleming.. the Movie versions' rights were
bought by a Vodka Company-in 'Casino Royale' He drank a 'Vesper' which is a Cocktail..

John Lennon's real Father was a Freeloader/Semi-Drunk and a 'Walrus' is a Cocktail.

I kinda like the idea that a Bunch of Rich Kids wanted Eggs? lol! and the Old Yogi liked to say
'Take it Easy' check out that link above [put it in Your Browser]

What's a Hindu?.. ha ha...This 'Comedy of Errors'...is done.

Burton Stephen Lancaster and Lloyd Bridges appeared in the 'Rainmaker' 1956

It stars Burt LancasterKatharine HepburnWendell CoreyLloyd Bridges and Earl Holliman.

Holliman won a Golden Globe Award for his performance.

I've never watched it?  but Hey! Lancaster played the Conman 'Starbuck?'..[See where I'm going here?]

and Bridges played 'NOAH CURRY'?..[ and I do like a good Curry]

Now everything I have been trying to explain about Characterizations being derived from already known

People/Experiences can perhaps include NFL Players/TEAMS... if You 'Google' NFL 'Nicknames'

some interesting Dudes appear...'The Sheriff' [Peyton Manning]

'Smokey' [John Brown]...'Mr Cowboy' [Bob Lilly]  'Marty Ball'[Coach Marty Schottenheimer] etc etc

NFL is not unknown in Europe and is immensely popular- but We Europeans do not have the

same knowledge as US Kids in regards to Nicknames/ Fan info...tho' that changes on an almost daily basis..

I find the most annoying thing about NFL games is the amount of Commercial breaks on TV...

Here's a little known Fact.. Smelling newly dug Earth in a Field or Garden actually releases

Seratonin In the Brain [feel good factor]...and I'm thinking 'Face down in the Mud' said by 'Fatso' has something to do

with NFL Games? but I may be wrong?...maybe Jeff is recalling something from College days?

'Holy Ghost' 'Hail Mary' Plays etc ..but without dialogue and 'Against all Odds'- I'm clueless..

I'm looking out My window...it's raining hard outside.. and  I've got a lot more Movies to watch

catch ya next Year maybe? You know something? The Irish have a saying..

'Don't marry the Girl You Love- Marry the Girl who Loves You'..

addendum 22 feb 2024;

I am now 'Half  and Half' Myself...I now have Irish and British Citizenship.

Lloyd Bridges and His Movies are the basis for a lot of His Son's works

'Pride of the Bluegrass' [1954]about Racehorse's could perhaps be seen in 'SeaBiscuit'  [2003]made by Son JEFF [Mullet]  there are many more...

I did a 'Google'' for 'LEBOWSKI' and was amazed to see someone comparing JESUS CHRIST with

'DUDE?'..Man whoever it was got that totally wrong- Dud'ai is [Hebrew for 'Narcotic'] Cannabis.

But as  'FOOTNOTE'

DUDE is BILLY BUDD...[but it would take way too long to explain here 'Bili' being  A Pagan

'Sun God' from Wales etc.. Herman Melville the Hemp Smoker/ Writer of 'BILLY BUDD' would have been amused..]
